HISTORY
Intercoop Europe Garden Center Group was founded a good 20 years ago by the then members. The objective was and still is to promote cooperation and a uniform marketing strat-egy among its members.
Over time, the need for international cooperation in this field became apparent. This success is the basis for our continued growth. Today, we have 14 members across Europe.
2020
First virtual workshop and new web platform 2.0
The first virtual workshop took place due to the coronavirus. The platform rolled out in 2017 was completely overhauled and a more contemporary version with many new features was launched.
2019
10th anniversary year with record revenue and earnings
The biggest Intercoop event to date was held in Lahr in the autumn. 125 suppliers from Europe, Asia and Latin America took part in the exhibition on an area of 2,000 m2. After-wards, 65 participants from 11 members celebrated the an-niversary at the Europapark in Rust (Germany).
2018
New management
Heinz Wälti, founder and pioneer of Intercoop, takes well—deserved retirement. He is succeeded by Juan Krapf, previ-ously Intercoop’s secretary general.

Move into the new head office in Zentralstrasse in Biel/Switzerland.
